Preparing the Body and Heart for Ramadan
Preparing the Body and Heart for Ramadan
with Dr. Abdallah Rothman and hikma rituals
As Ramadan approaches, this workshop offers space to prepare with intention and awareness.
Fasting is approached as an embodied spiritual practice that brings attention to the physical body as a pathway to the heart. The body is understood as a vessel of consciousness and awareness, supporting inward orientation and presence.
This session supports participants in entering Ramadan with a grounded inner orientation, using plants as companions throughout the fasting experience.
What we’ll explore:
• Preparing the body and heart for fasting
• Embodiment and spiritual presence during Ramadan
• Key plants that support the fasting body
• Sensory engagement and simple herbal preparations
